Not a coin or medal collector per se. I was fortunate enough to inherit this cool medal from my father in law when I used to live in Glasgow, Scotland back in early 2000's. I am not an expert on its metal or purity. However, my research had lead me to Geoffrey Colley back then. This medal may be silver with a gold plate on it which has been wearing off. You can see it in the pictures and grade the condition yourself. Item is old. I am selling it as a football merchandise collector to other collectors such as yourself who is looking for world cup/football memorabilia for their collection. It is 51mm in diameter The observe has the old World Cup trophy which was Jules Rimet Trophy back then.The reverse side has two football players with a large ball behind them. Surrounding them are the lettering: URUGUAY 1930. ITALY 1934. FRANCE 1938. BRAZIL 1950. SWITZERLAND 1954. SWEDEN 1958. CHILE 1962. which were the host countries from the very first World Cup in Uruguay in 1930 until England in 1966.
