Description: The Martin D12-35 12 string acoustic guitar was introduced in 1965 and was Martin's top of the line 12 string at the time. This guitar is from 1966 and features an all Brazilian rosewood back and sides. Later models incorporated a mix of Indian and Brazilian rosewood. This one plays great, is very loud, and the overall tone is very clear and balanced. The tuners work well, the guitar stays in tune, and intonates well up and down the fretboard. The tuners, pickguard, and bridge look to be original. The guitar has some cracks on the top and rear as seen in the pictures but all have been repaired and stabilized by a luthier. Some binding has been reglued as well. The bridge pins have been replaced and a strap button has been added to the lower heel. If the nut is not original then it was expertly cut. The case looks to be original. It is set up and ready to play for many, many years to come.SpecificationsBrazilian rosewood back and sidesSitka spruce topMahogany neckEbony fretboardEbony bridge12 fretsNut width: 1 13/16"1st fret width: 1 14/16"12th fret width: 2 1/4"
