Description: Up for auction is a used 1966-1968 Plymouth Barracuda Formula S fender badge emblem, part number is 2579443, fits left or right side. Please note this will NOT fit a 1965 Barracuda unless you drill new holes in the fender….1965 is DIFFERENT and people selling them on eBay don’t explain the difference…the mounting studs are side-to-side on 65’s and 1966-68 have the studs on the top and bottom. Now that I cleared that up…here we go…this emblem is in pretty nice shape, bright and shiny chrome. Couple small pits but not bad, most noticeable on the large “S” but the rest of the emblem looks great. Black is decent but the red white and blue are a faded, would look better if redone. There is still some old wax in the recessed areas but would clean out with a toothbrush. The round smooth surface still has the correct brushed finish on it, mounting studs are also good. This is a factory original emblem, not a china made incorrect repop!! The repops don’t have the same brushed finish and the edges are not as crisp! Get a factory original emblem here!
