Description: 1967 Chevron/Uniroyal Vancouver Mounties -- Sal Bando Graded Near Mint+ 7.5 by SGC Graded Near Mint+ 7.5 by SGC. A fantastic card possessing sharp corners, good contrast, and a fine reverse side. One of the scarcest 1960s Minor League issues. There are two varieties on this card--one with "3rd base" as the position and one with "infielder." The latter (infielder) appears to be the more difficult of the two. SGC has only graded three examples of this card--this one (SGC 7.5), an SGC 5, and an SGC 3.5. PSA has yet to grade any. Vancouver was the AAA affiliate of the Kansas City Athletics and played in the Pacific Coast League.
