1967 Ford 390 390GT Smog Cylinder Heads C7AE-6090-A Dated 6J16 & 7A19

Description: 1967 C7AE-6090-A 390 SMOG HEADS dated 6J16 (September 16, 1966) & 7A19 (January 19, 1967) that are in good rebuildable condition. I had these heads professionally modified a few years ago for use with the 1967 390 SCode intake manifold & use of the GT exhaust manifolds to obtain the additional 35 HP indicated by Ford. The mod is the re-drilling of the exhaust bolts. These 390 Heads require the 390GT exhaust manifolds and new valves. This listing does not include the exhaust manifolds. MODIFICATION NOTE: These C7AE-A 390 California Smog Heads with Smog Plugs if you don’t want the smog operational. These heads originally had 8 exhaust manifold bolt holes that have been professionally modified to 14 bolt holes in order to accept use of the 390GT exhaust manifolds which require 14 bolt holes in a different pattern. By using the SCode Intake Manifold & GT exhaust manifolds that are included in this Sale Price, FORD indicated that the increase of Horse Power is at least 35 HP Note: the SCode intake is not included in the price but we do have S-Code intake Manifolds and SETS of Exhaust Manifolds available. These heads are exactly how they would have arrived on a 390GT vehicle. All the 390 heads perform the same. If you are familiar with the 390GT you are aware that the engine with the GT exhaust manifolds provides an additional 35-50 HP. You can see the modifications in the photos. The holes were professionally and correctly drilled and lowered in the correct locations. You can see that the original top front and rear holes have been plugged.
