Vietnam - War - New base camp of the US Army's 9th Division spreads from the Mekong River, background, five miles from My Tho, South Vietnam. The area, almost a square mile was filled in by sand and mud dredged from the bottom of the Mekong by the world's fourth largest dredge, which recently was blown up by the Viet Cong.
