Description: 1967 Richard Schneider Flamenco Guitar Detroit MIch - Juan Serrano model Rare!!! Description Very rare Flamenco guitar built by master builder Richard Schneider most notably known for his collaboration with George Gruhn and the Gibson MK series guitars from the 1970's. This is the only known Richard Schneider Flamenco guitar built in Detroit, MI 1967 for legendary concert guitarist Juan Serrono. There's some notable repairs including a long side crack on the treble bout, shorter crack on the bass side by the neck. Top has some dig in marks on the treble side, and a couple cracks and deep scratches below the bridge. Top has also been refinished. Bracing is solid, and Repairs are stable, needs a new tap plate. Cypress body, spruce top, ebony fingerboard, Brazilian rosewood bridge. Body measures 13.5 at lower bout, overall body length is 19.25, body depth is 3.75, and 26 1/2 scale.
