Description: Rare Original 1969 Michael Collins, Neil Armstrong & Buzz Aldrin, Nasa moon landing litho poster! Apollo 11 was the spaceflight that landed the first two humans on the Moon. Astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin, landed the lunar module Eagle on July 20th, 1969. Astronaut Micheal Collins piloted the command module Columbia alone in lunar orbit while they were on the Moon's surface. Broadcast on live TV to a worldwide audience, Armstrong stepped onto the lunar surface and described the event as "one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind." Apollo 11 effectively ended the Space Race and fulfilled the U.S. national goal proposed in 1961 by President John F. Kennedy. This is the first run of this poster as it has the words Litho in U.S.A. in the lower right corner and the copyright in the lower left of the image as shown. This poster measures 14x18 inches. It does have a crease as shown from storage for years in the personal belongings of a military test pilot who worked with many of the NASA pilots through the years. One small spot on the arm of Armstrong. This will still display fantastic when framed. Guaranteed original!!!
