This is an original press photo. Cliff Robertson is tossed into the air Tuesday after learning he'd won the Oscar as best actor of 1968 at Academy Awards presentations in Hollywood Monday night. Doing the tossing are Japanese members of the crew of "Too Late The Hero" which is being shot in the Philippine jungle south of Manila with Robertson as a co-star. Word of Robertson's win reached them by short-wave radio. He was given the Oscar for his role of the mentally retarded man whom doctors turn temporarily into a genius in "Charly."Photo measures 8 x 10.75inches. Photo is dated 04-15-1969.
