Description: Please read full description. Downsizing a long-time personal collection since retiring ... 1969 Seattle Pilots Style Flannel Jersey. Vintage. **NOT a game used jersey.** ** Home - White ** **NOT a game used jersey.** A nice quality vintage flannel Rawlings jersey from the 1960's era. The style of Rawlings tag seems to date this jersey to approximately the 1963 to 1971 era.(Note: Wilson was the manufacturer for the game used 1969 Pilots home jerseys. Spaulding manufactured the game used road jerseys) This jersey originally had “Seahawks” in block across front. Faint if you just look at the jersey - but, if you hold it up to sunlight you can see an outline of a block lettered “Seahawks” (See photos) Great for display or to wear in style to the ballpark. ****The Jersey****NOT a game used jersey.Manufactured by: Rawlings (Manufacturer tag in Collar). No other tagging. Number: 39 front and back. Name on Back: None Style: Typical “Pilots” across front in blue/gold. Home White jersey. Number front and back. No NOB. High Quality - All stitched on.Size 42. Note: Gary Bell, George Brunet, and Gary Roggenburk all wore #39 for the Seattle Pilots. **The Team:** Seattle Pilots were a MLB team for one year (1969). In 1970, the team moved to Milwaukee and became the Milwaukee Brewers. Note: In 1969 MLB jerseys had an anniversary patch. However, the Pilots wore the anniversary patch only on their road blue jerseys. A nice collectible for any Seattle Pilots or baseball fan. In the process of downsizing my longtime personal collection since retiring.
