Description: 1969 Topps Man On The Moon - Reverse Varieties This lot contains 15 cards with variations to the base set; based on the puzzle image on the back of the card. ******2 cards pictured in this lot are not available - those are "Lunar Study" and "The Apollo Orbit".******* To my knowledge, there are the known 55 cards which compose the base set with the standard puzzle images on the reverse. There are also 98 known reverse variations (and could be a few more) to the base 55 card set. These variations were created when Topps sequenced cards on the master sheet before they were cut. It's an interesting and complex set where there is certainly more than meets the eye. Each card of the base set has at least one reverse variation and most have two.
