Description: Super cool original owner collectible here, right from my hometown. History of Comics Volume 1 by Jim Steranko with original envelope. This is a FIRST PRINTING as evidenced by the large black first page (later printings have angled type) and 1970 date on the credit page. Envelope has it's issues, but it's near impossible to find these with the original envelope, so don't let it pass you by. Grading as follows: Book: 4.5 VG+ light foxing around edges, stress at staples but still attached, please see photos. Envelope: 2.5 GD+ The biggest issue here is that the original owner colored the characters in, and it appears that he taped an advertisement for this publication to the cover. A couple of tape repairs and general wear to the envelope. Address has been blurred out on the photos, but is clear on the mailing label on actual envelope. Shipping: Comics, art or records will ship with plenty of padding and protection - I am a comic collector and have been shipping comic books, records and artwork for 24 years on Ebay - Your items will be packed in a box accordingly to ensure it arrives to you safe and sound.
