This very rare carburetor is dated 983 ( 3rd week of August 1969)This carburetor is 100% original and not a re-stamp. This carburetor came as original equipment on the 1970 Mustang and Cougar with the 428CJ or SCJ with 4 speed transmission and no air conditioning. This is a 100% original carburetor and not a re stamp. Just look at the feedback and read the forums please. This carburetor was professionally gone through and rebuilt by Custom Rebuilt Carburetors of N.J using all new ethanol resistant parts. The carburetor has original metering blocks 5673 and 5671. This rare carburetor has been completely disassembled and run through an ultrasonic machine. The carburetor is then re-assembled to factory specifications using all new parts and components. This carburetor has been wet flow tested and is ready to be bolted on with little or no adjustments to be made.
