Description: This is a set of four Flat Bar Brno Chairs, Model 255, initially designed by Mies van der Rohe in 1930. These particular examples were manufactured by Knoll in 1970, and the listed price includes the set of four chairs. They feature a cantilevered frame and have brand new upholstery in high-end black Italian leather. The frames are hand polished stainless steel, not simply chromed. Three of the chairs retain their original Knoll Art Metal paper labels. Each chair measures 23 inches deep, 23 inches wide, and 31 inches tall. They have an arm height of 28 inches, and a seat height of 17 inches. There are some light scratches and scuffs on the arms and the bases, and the leather upholstery is new and pristine. Overall, this set is in very good condition with light wear. Please see photos.
