Description: Vintage ceramic molded nesting Canadian Goose figurine. This goose measures 4.5" x 8.5" at the base and 5" tall. Wt. is about 2 pounds. The colors and the glaze are really nice. Goose is black, brown and gray in color with the base and applied leaves being an avocado green with brown accents. There are 3 areas that are chipped. Please see last few photos for this. Also, not sure if it was intentional by artist but there is some iridescent green paint on the top leaf in front. Very unique figurine. Made by hand from a ceramics mold from back in the 1960's-70's era. There are remnants of felt around bottom edges. The felt is adhered to the bottom edges so unable to see who maker is. Atlantic & Holland molds made similar ones to this but with little goslings. I have been unable to find another one like this with just the mother goose nesting among applied the applied leaves.
