This is an OEM ORIGINAL Cadillac/ GM part that was made in the 1970's. Does not fit 1971 Calais or Deville -- that year only. PART # 9833483 (Mates with flipper Crest Emblem part #9724504) ITEM CONDITION: This Lock Cover Backing Plate is in Very Good Condition. I've had these stashed in a box for probably 15-20 years...time to see them get a new home on your 1971-76 Eldorado, Deville or Fleetwood. THREE AVAILABLE. The Backplate is fully operational - the flipper "spring" has not been bent or broken off....so when you transfer your "flipper emblem" to this backing plate, it should work like a charm by keeping the lock cover "open" until you gently nudge it close again. The chrome is very presentable...It's nice and shiny as you can see! These are both exceptionally clean parts (I got them in Arizona at the time) for being 50 years old (SOLD INDIVIDUALLY).
