Description: This is a tall, lacquered wood Olinto cabinet, designed in the 1970s by Japanese architect Kazuhide Takahama for B&B Italia. Takahama’s collection featured a series of modular cabinets that could adapt to the user’s changing needs. This piece is lacquered in the Rosso Cina colorway, utilizing ancient techniques that were adapted for B&B Italia's industrial-level production. The doors have steel and aluminum hardware. Two other cases with glass doors from the same estate are listed separately, but not included. This cabinet measures 13 inches deep, 26.38 inches wide, and is 91.5 inches high. The piece shows little wear, lest for a few errant scratches and light rubs to the finish. Overall, this piece is in very good to excellent vintage condition with light wear. Please see photos.
