Description: 1971 Ireland Two Pence Stylized Celtic Bird Knot Coin and Copper Pill Holder, Earring Holder, Snuff Box. The interior is 3/4 of an inch in diameter. The coin was slightly domed then attached to a copper ring with a lead free silver solder. The lid fits snugly inside the copper box or cup, it won't just fall out, you need to twist it a little to get them apart. The holder was heated with a torch to give it the colors that you see. These coins were produced between 1971 & 2000 and feature a decorative initial "U" resembling a bird, out of the "Book of Kells".
