Description: This 1972-D Kennedy half dollar is the Cherry Pickers Guide Variety FS-901 or No “FG.” This is most difficult of the Kennedy No “FG” varieties to find and can be worth hundreds of dollars even in lower grades. The FG initials are typically located on the reverse of the coin in between the eagles left leg and tail feathers. However due to an over-polishing of the die, such as in this case, the FG initials have been obliterated and are considered “missing.” This is the most sought after of the no FG varieties and will be a staple in your error and variety collection! We have only a few in stock so get this now before they get GONE!
