Description: This design allows the you to eliminate the cardboard backing and re-install the headliner using headliner bows. Simply remove the old cardboard headliner and install the new headliner utilizing the bows that are included. Note: Includes 2 bows. Fits 2 door sedans only. For 4 door models use part# UCH231P. Instructions: The seams in the headliner are 15 inches apart. Carefully cut the tracks to length pre drill & install the clips in the track bef ore mounting the tracks 15 inches apart with very short screws. Next snap the bow in each track to find the location for the holes that need to be drilled. Be sure to usa a stop for your drill bit. Steel brake or fuel lines are a good stop when dealing w ith close tolerances. Cut the bows so they slide in one side all the way on one side but barely go in the other side. Center the bows when you snap them into the clips. Center your dome light between the bows.With a quart of contact adhesive f ollow the directions on the can for proper adhesion. Glue about one foot of the edge of the roof & the headliner where it touches in the middle of the front back and on each side. Be sure to glue both sides for proper adhesion. If you dont have glue onb oth sides where the two materials touch it wont stick. Wait 15 minutes before stretching in order to obtain proper adhesion. Start in the back gently stretching. Next work the front stretching tightly. Then work each side from the middle gluing & st retching all the way around the headliner until job is complete. Classic Industries® is a registered trademark.
