Description: 1974 Fender USA STORATCASTER SB/M Description Condition: Used A superb collection from LRAGE HADSUOCK by ROCK CUNTRY! Staggered pole piece PU! Slim neck, lightweight, and loud♪ 1974 Fender/Stratocaster/Sunburst/Maple Nut width: 40.5mm Neck date "0903 3324" ∴Original 3-point selector manufactured on August 13, 1974 Original aluminum die-cast tremolo unit Weight 3340g Neck plate serial number "565947" Original tremolo arm Tremolo unit cover tag Original hard case included Fander strap & strings included. All items in image 10 are included. The image was taken with a smartphone in an indoor LED-lit room and is unprocessed and unedited. One initial pot was replaced at the time of purchase (1975 CTS) The rest are 1974 CTS. Maintenance was done at a pro shop this year and has not been used since. The neck is straight and the frets can still be used without replacement. Please refer to image 9 (taken on 12/1/2024) for the current string height. There is also room on both sides of the truss rod. The PU, which is the heart of the vintage Strat, is made of gray fiber paper, and the front, mid, and rear are all black with serial numbers 73374. It is an original pickup with staggered (random) pole pieces that was used until this year, and the coil is enamel wire, and the dark amber color that was used after 1972. The screw that secures the pickup is a pan head screw, and the use of a spring is also a characteristic of 1974. The tape that bundles the lead wires is a 1/2 inch wide paper masking tape that has been used since the 1950s, and the mounting position is also in a different state with no change. Overall, the parts are consistent with the characteristics of a Fender USA Strat. Since it is a vintage vintage, it is over 50 years old, and there are scratches on the body and scratches on the neck edge, but it is in a condition that does not interfere with playing and sounds great! The original staggered pole piece PU, the lightweight alder body, and the slim U-shaped maple one-piece large head neck that is easy to grip, all combine to produce a sound that is crisp and well-defined, with an outstanding long sustain. I plugged it into a UNIT19 = Marshall three-stage stack at full 10 and was blown away by the amazing sound it produced♪ Having seen many Stratocasters from the same era, the number of those in very good condition (of course, not in mint condition) is decreasing, so if you are looking for the real thing, this is a rare and highly recommended item that can be used not only as a part of your collection, but also as a main guitar that you can use right away!
