At launching ceremonies Saturday at Avondale Shipyards, Inc., Main Yard Division, the Ocean 190, a single deck unmanned barge slides gracefully into the Mississippi River. The 476 foot long craft was built for Interstate Oil Transport Company. The barge is designed to carry some 189,000 barrels (7,947,330 gallons) of oil. Photo measures 10 x 8 inches.
