Pony Express - I've seen some curious rigs doing duty as rural mailboxes in this state but here's one that whips them all. I saw it out close to Dripping Springs, in front of a house that looked unoccupied. I suppose the rider represents a Pony Express man, hazing his horse across the West. There's a box on his rump where the mailman can leave bills, and although the picture doesn't show it, a rattlesnake down there among that pony's feet.Photo measures 10 x 8.25inches.
