Fyodora Andreevna Pushina (1922-1943) Hero of the Soviet Union, military assistant, lieutenant of the medical service. In 1943, during heavy offensive battles, the lieutenant of the medical service was with her unit on the outskirts of Kyiv, in Svyatoshino.One morning, in early November, the bombardment of the area began. The bomb fell on the school building, which housed a field hospital. A fire started. Theodora and their company commander Nikolai Kopytenkov rescued the wounded from the fire. The girl managed to endure three dozen seriously wounded people. She ran after the last of them. At that moment, the building collapsed. Kopytenkov managed to carry Feodora out of the flames. At first she was unconscious. The girl had a severe head injury. There were severe burns on the body. Theodora Pushina was able to open her eyes slightly before her death and move her lips slightly. The brave and strong-willed girl became a hero of the Soviet Union posthumously.
