The fronts of the cards have player portraits by artist Charles Linnett rendered in black-and-white pencil and set against a pale yellow background. Each card has the team logo in the lower left corner and a facsimile autograph in either red or purple lettering. Front borders are bright purple, red, green, dark brown or white. Card backs feature either a photo of an antique auto or a drawing of a historic sailing ship. The Linnetts were sold in panels of six perforated cards. The cards are numbered from 90-125. Only the World's Champion Cincinnati Reds, American League Champion Boston Red Sox and the National League runner-up Los Angeles Dodgers are represented in the set.
