Bastille Day was celebrated in New Orleans last week with a reception at the Plimsoll Club. Those attending the gathering included (at right, from left) Mrs. Jean-Pierre Laurent and her husband, commanding officer of the French ship Arcturus; Isabelle Krumacker, Miss France of 1973, in New Orleans for the France-Louisiana Festival July 4-14; and Jean-Jacques Peyronnet, consul general of France In New Orleans and host of the noontime fete.. Others joining the festivities were (below) Betty Caldwell, professor of French at Dominican College, and Dr. William Horan, head of languages at Dominican; and (below right, from left), Dr. Homer Dupuy, former president of New Orleans Bastille Day Celebration Inc.; the Marquise and Marquis de Chambrun (he's a descendant of Lafayette and also was in New Orleans for the France-Louisiana Festival), and Mrs. Hubert B.
