Description: This is a rare 1979 Case XX folding hunter knife with a Clip Point and Spey Point blade. It features a Slipjoint lock, ambidextrous Dexterity, and a manual Opening Mechanism. The knife has 2 blades and was made in the United States. It also has a special connection to the United Mine Workers and John Lewis 1880-1980. The knife comes with original case, in distressed, but functional condition. This is a large, full hand pocket knife. The knife appears to have been carried in the case, but does not seem to have seen much use. Both blades have minor scuffing from someone sharpening it. Could be buffed out. The scales appear to be bone, not wood as described in another post of a nicer condition same knife. This knife is numbered on the front bolster with 0710. This knife was discovered on an old boat that was being restored in the early 2000s in the Pittsburg, California Marina. action is excellent. could be a nice rare knife addition to a collection or a daily carry. Marked at a reasonable price due to condition. If deep cleaned and buffed out, other than the deeper dings on the one bolster, it would be a very nice piece. The case could also be refreshed with a little effort to make this a very nice pair. For sale in the continental United States only. Shipping is free with buy it now. Thank you!
