Scratching mainly on the back side of the banjo. The strings can unwind pretty easily if played with roughly. The pegs may loosen when played and will need to be retightened. The cardboard is just loose as the banjo was once shrink wrapped in plastic but, no longer is. The cardboard is dirty/stained mainly on the back, toward the bottom.
