Description: 1980s SANTA CLARA PUEBLO POTTERY Duck Effigy Sculpture Click images to enlarge Description VINTAGE POTTERY DUCK SCULPTURE Adorable vintage primitive black pottery duck effigy figurine measuring about 2-1/4" tall, 1-5/8" wide between wings, and 3" from beak to tail. Featuring a bird formed from one piece of pottery with molded wings, tail and beak, eyes are pierced, and shape is simple yet recognizable. Unsigned, it is a Santa Clara Pueblo piece, guessing by Paul and Dorothy Gutierrez based on the estate at which it was found. Condition is excellent - figurine has no chips, cracks, hairlines, repairs, discoloration or damage - there are trace tag remnants on the base.
