This Live Steam Roller is in average condition.It has been air tested (video) and should not give much trouble to operate on steam. Sometimes though, an older gasket might have dried up, needing replacement. Let's hope it's not the case. It is complete, including the box that is in VERY POOR condition.Actually, I folded it (photo) for the shipping to avoid further deterioration. The roller has been fired and played with and there are a few bents and scratches. The paint has flaked on the flywheel (photo) that is normally red. Also a few rare spots of surface rust. One thing to report : the steering wheel does not work. The sprocket slips on the axle and does not turn the wheels. It's very likely a simple fix but it's a bit too precise of a job for the old man I have become. All in all, nothing terrible and it can be used in the present condition... but it could look so much better with a bit of TLC !Note : as the water level window is quite clear, it must have been used with distilled water : Bravo !
