Description: This is a beautiful tall, slender bud vase by Celia Cole, daughter of A.R. Cole, made in 1981 in Sanford, North Carolina. It is made with red NC clay and finished in a beautiful malachite green-brown glaze. Measures 9.75" high, 4.5" in diameter at its widest point, and weighs 1.9 lbs. Excellent condition. There is a chip on the base and a breaking on the base from production. There are a couple small pocks made during production, as well. No cracks. Inscribed on the base "1981 Celia Cole Northview NC Sanford". Northview refers to the area of Sanford, NC that Cole Pottery Studio resided during this time. Ships USPS Priority.
