Description: In Search of Blandings Written and published by Lt Col N T P Murphy, Surrey, 1981. This is a signed limited paperback first edition in very good, unread condition, number 384 from a limited edition of 500. Included is a note by Murphy bemoaning the fact that “the printer hadn’t done a book before’. A softback with pictorial stiff card wraps, illustrated by 14 b/w plates, 249 pp. Author signature on title page and limitation number, otherwise no annotations, pages are clean and bright, spine binding not sufficient for the central inserts with several starting to work loose. This book is unread and all the plates are still holding, but is a known fault with this book. Wraps clean and crisp, gentle rubbing to spine ends. A very good and Rare copy of a hard to source title. 'Behind the superb language and imagery of P G Wodehouse lies a background of reality. People, places, names and incidents in Wodehouse's life appear under different guises. Aunt Dahlia, Bertie Wooster, Jeeves and Ukridge are all based on people he knew - and Blandings Castle does exist.' Please refer to photos which form part of the description and are of this listing. Postage is at cost and includes insurance and tracking and we do combine postage. Listing several Wodehouse titles. Thank you for viewing
