Description: Pacific Comics, Berni Wrightson Master Of The Macabre # 2 Comic Book (1st Printing) from 1983 COMIC HAND SIGNED BY ARTIST & CREATOR BERNI WRIGHTSON! (see my other auctions for more signed comics & cards). Comic was hand signed by artist Berni Wrightson at the annual Baltimore Comic-Con 2012. It comes with both my COA (Certificate Of Authenticity) & POA (Proof Of Authenticity). Berni Wrightson is the creator of Swamp Thing! SADLY BERNI WRIGHTSON PASSED AWAY MARCH 18, 2017. HE WILL BE MISSED. Comic is in a VF or better condition, unread. Faint crease top right corner, otherwise a beauty. It comes with both my POA and COA! To eliminate some concerns as to the authenticity of an autographed item, I include in most cases, what I call a POA (Proof Of Authenticity), which usually is a copy of the flyer addressed to me, or my proof of admission to the convention and the page listing the artist as a scheduled guest. While I provide certificates for some items, my experience at early conventions is that, the table selling certificates is far removed from most of the artists. As a result, the signing isn't witnessed by the seller of the certificate, so how can this be guaranteed authentic? Another source of certificates are those printed up by the seller who guarantees authenticity!!! Just a thought not to get hung up on certificates. I have been selling signed items on ebay since December 4, 1998. I haven't had any problems with authenticity in all that time! I personally guarantee that the signature is authentic, and was signed by the creator, witnessed by me. If you prefer a certificate I also provide those upon request. I always pack carefully and securely, in a padded mailer, a new bag and board, sandwiched between heavy cardboard for protection. Postal rates have dramatically increased, and since ebay charges sellers fees including the P&H, please be aware of these changes.
