Part of a huge recent find of vintage and modern basketball cards that had been sitting in boxes for decades until now. Comes in a new tight-fitting PSA-branded sleeve. STAR CARDS: The Star company was the only major manufacturer of licensed basketball cards between 1981, when Topps stopped making cards after their 1981-'82 set, and 1986, when Fleer entered the market with their 1986-'87 set. Star cards were limited in production and packaged exclusively in team bags. Since they were not available in traditional wax packs/boxes, most retailers did not carry them, and customers had to order them by mail. Authentic high-grade examples are now hard to find.
