Description: LOT of two decorative tins: (1) Keller Charles of Philadelphia Tin, made in England in 1986 by the National Trust. Based on a painted wooden box from Wimpole Hall in Cambridgeshire. It is quite large -- 4 inches wide and 6 1/2 inches long and 4 3/4 inches high. The interior is quite clean and new looking. The outside is decorated with fruit and different birds. Very Victorian Looking! Some of the birds are Cardinal Honey Eaters from the South Sea. One might be a White Tipped Sicklebill or a Greater Hook Billed. They might be hummingbirds. They remind me of birds on paintings by Sir William Jackson Hooker. (2) Lillian Vernon 1988 LV 4505 Made in Hong Kong. This tin is decorated to depict a two-story Victorian house in the winter. The lid is the pitched roof! It has a holiday or Christmas vibe. There's a wreath on the front door and a tree in the parlor. It is 3 1/4 inches tall, 2 1/4 inches long, and 1 5/8 inches wide. They are both in good vintage condition. They are almost 40 years old now! See photos for more details. Feel free to ask any questions prior to purchase. Thank you for your interest!
