1986 Nintendo EARLY NES CONTROL DECK BOX Super MARIO Bros. Set SERVICED +TESTED!

Description: NICE 1986 Nintendo NES original early release CONTROL DECK boxed set with Super Mario Bros. game all in the original Nintendo retail box and nice white Styrofoam packing! Early serial # original first style smooth top NES console in beautiful cosmetic condition! NES system is recently serviced, clean and detailed, fully game play tested, and ready to enjoy and display upon receipt! Low serial # (2,360,542) NES console in the low 2 million range, this is out of the approximately 40 million NES units that were eventually sold in the United States! From smoke-free climate-controlled environment, so no smoke or old musty odors absorbed into the box or any of the included items like many will have which greatly detract from condition and value, but of course cannot be noticed from only online photos. This set is super clean and nice, freshly serviced and game play tested. All photos of the exact items buyer will receive, nothing else is included. System shown working with the included original Super Mario Bros. early 5-screw game cartridge, TV of course is NOT included, for demo of this NES system in operation only.This is an earlier release NES box set, produced before the much more common NES Action Set and Challenge Set that came later on, and also before the basic Control Deck set that did not come with the Super Mario Bros. game. Only the pre-Deluxe early test market sets with R.O.B. from 1985 were offered before this version in the US. This Mario Control Deck set was offered around the same time as the R.O.B. Robot "Deluxe Set" in 1986 and into 1987. Control Deck box is dated 1986. Console is a low serial # with the nice smooth more glossy top finish on the early NES consoles, unlike the later much more common matte textured finish on the top casing of most NES units. Console also has the 'Inside Washington State' phone # on the label on the bottom of console, and the R circle symbol after Nintendo on the console lid indicative of earlier NES systems, as later NES units do not have these. Many NES Control Deck boxed sets seen offered come with a console added in from a much later production date, that are not original to the box. This is the original NES that came in this box from Nintendo in 1986! Includes early 5-screw style Super Mario Bros. game cartridge, original genuine Nintendo power supply, both original NES controllers in excellent working condition, original Nintendo RF adaptors, no AV cables are included any standard RCA style composite cables will work for output to tv with those jacks. There are even HDMI convertors available now to convert NES output to modern TVs without any AV connections. Original NES Control Deck manual, unmarked inside. Nice original box Styrofoam that holds all the contents. Foam is very nice, clean and white color, not discolored or taped over or marked on, and not broken apart!The ORIGINAL Nintendo 72 pin connector inside the NES console was removed and cleaned. The cart contact pins were reset to original position, so they are no longer flattened out from use and now make a solid connection with carts just like new! This is a very common problem with the original NES which causes games not to load and the flashing red light issue. It is much preferred to restore the original high-quality Nintendo pin connector, instead of just replacing with a lower quality modern reproduction that likely won't last very long and will hold the carts much too tight which can cause damage to your games. This system loads and plays perfectly with the refurbished original Nintendo pin connector! The contacts on the main board inside the console where the pin connector attaches, and the pins where the carts make contact where also cleaned with high-quality electrical contact cleaner. Contacts on the Super Mario Bros. cart cleaned also so the entire set works perfectly! Make sure any other game carts are cleaned before inserting so not to contaminate the clean pin connector in this NES. NES console is in beautiful condition, not yellowed or discolored, small crack split in top plastic housing on rear back corner as shown, with a very small little chip missing. Minor typical imperfections from original use, very clean and nice compared to most seen now. Inside of NES console was cleaned with compressed air so no dust or dirt inside, controllers clean and detailed and work perfectly. This original boxed set is ready to prominently display and play! Interior box flaps not torn or missing, box is not taped over or written on, and the original UPC is still on box not cut out. Typical minor shelf wear and some imperfections to box as shown, over all very nice for 36+ years old! Box has nice glossy finish with very vibrant colors, perfect to prominently display!
