The bike even comes with the original papers from when it was purchased new. Classic lugged steel frame. Lightweight aluminum wheels with front quick release. Easy to use stem shifting. It's in amazing condition for its age and rides like new. We have shipped hundreds of bikes over the last 20 years and have never had a bike damaged due to insufficient packing. Packaging a bicycle for safe shipping is a labor-intensive and time-consuming process, so please allow at least two business days before the package is sent out. Bicycles need to be partially disassembled to fit in a box for shipping; if you are not familiar with bike assembly, we highly recommend having a bicycle shop reassemble the bike for you - we cannot be held responsible for any damage resulting from improper assembly. To box a bike we take off the handlebars, pedals, front and rear wheel, seat post, rear derailleur, etc.. Due to packaging/shipping, some bikes may require minor tuning and wheel re-truing at set up.
