Description: Up for sale, a 1988 Fender Stratocaster ‘62 vintage reissue model ST62-55 in perfect working order, finished in custom color Rebel Yellow. This early “Made in Japan” Strat was produced at the famed Fujigen factory and marketed exclusively to the Japanese domestic market, uncommon outside its country of origin. Designed to pay homage to the golden era Pre-CBS Strat circa 1962, tonewoods include a basswood body, maple neck, and thick slab rosewood fretboard. The pickup complement includes the original alnico magnet ST-Vintage single coils in the neck and middle positions, with an upgraded era-correct (both to the instrument, and the era being reissued) Seymour Duncan SSL-1 in the bridge position. This pickup trio delivers a bevy of classic Strat tonalities; the neck is round and bell-like, and the bridge pickup provides sparkling cut, with thinned-out cut in the "in-between" positions on the three-way switch. This Strat weighs 8lbs 4oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action and spot-on intonation.
