Description: 1988 George Washburn SBF-24 (Solid Body Folk) Thinline Semi-Solid Electric Guitar VINTAGE WHITE ● Upgraded with new luxury Gotoh 1:21 ratio machine-head tuning keys (SGV510Z-A60LX), Gotoh VK1-19 CHROME control knobs, Gotoh JCB-2 CHROME jack plate, Fender CHROME strap locks, and CHROME finish brass bridge pins. ● Please look at the photos closely! This beautiful guitar has several blemishes, nicks, scratches, and marks. It is in VERY GOOD condition for its age! ● Electronics work perfectly and have been kept clean with DeoxIT. The pickup on this guitar has NO feedback (even when I kneel right in front of my amp)! A new 9 volt battery has been installed as well as a fresh set of strings (D'Addario EJ26 Phosphor Bronze). ● This guitar has 22 Jumbo Frets. As much as I have enjoyed playing this white beauty, I am selling because my small girl fingers struggle when stretching across the frets to play those scales! Some of the frets have denting (due to lots and lots of playing over the years) which is understandable considering this guitar's age. All the frets play true, there is no buzzing, and the neck (truss rod) has been adjusted. Nice action! This guitar is ready to be played! ● I purchased this guitar used from a small mom-and-pop music store. I will be including all the hardware that originally came with this guitar which I replaced including the control knobs, black plastic bridge pins, machine-head tuners, and jack plate. ABOUT THIS GUITAR:The Washburn SBF24 (Solid Body Folk) is a single round cutaway dreadnought guitar. This is a thinline semi-solid body acoustic/electric guitar with an active piezo pickup designed to play like an electric but sound like an acoustic, with no feedback problems. The SBF24 has a select spruce top with a CNC channeled semi-solid mahogany body, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and bridge. This guitar is a little on the heavy side, weighing approximately 8 pounds.Guitar measures approximately 2 inches thick, 14 1/2 inches across at its widest point, and 41 1/2 inches long (including the tail pin). This guitar does not come with a case, but I will pack it very carefully to help ensure a safe journey from me to you. Comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home.
