1989 De Rosa SLX - 57cm - Frameset - Campagnolo Headset - Red

Description: This is an excellent condition De Rosa frameset made of Columbus SLX tubing circa 1989. The frameset was part of a complete all original with full Campagnolo C-Record components from an estate. The bike had only been used sparingly and sat in storage for 30+ years. The original chainring and cog teeth looked brand new, as did the brake pads, rims, cup and cone races, and all other components which led me to believe the original and sole owner only used it a handful of times. It’s considered a size 57, measuring 57cm from the center of the bottom bracket to the top of the seat tube. The top measures approximately 55/55.5cm from center to center. This is ideal for someone about 5’10”/5’11” There are no dents, no rust, and only very minor paint wear that is remarkable for an Italian frame of this vintage. The bottom bracket threads and dropouts are immaculate, as are all the lugs and bb shell. The bike comes with the original mint condition Campagnolo C-Record Headset, with the original campy grease that is incredibly smooth til this day! 126mm rear dropout spacing.
