Ray Bonwell, captain of the university of Michigan sailing team man in the water with the help of the Coast Guard try to right a capsize 12 ft. Day Sailboat Bonwell along with 14 other team mates are here in New Orleans during their Spring break. They were using Tulane University boats as they took to the water of Lake Pontchartrain today. According to Bonwell who was riding a rescue boat, the boat capsized while John Senger and Tim Mackey were making a turn. Bonwell was not in the boat when it capsized and only aided in righting and towing of the boat. Photo measures 10 x 8 inches. Photo is dated 3-6-1990.
