The PSA slabs fit snug, but not tight within the foam inset (snug enough to allow for a tilt slightly past 90 before the slabs fall out). The slabs are in no way held down by any glue, tape or other adhesive and can easily be removed from the foam inset and interchanged with other PSA slabs. The foam piece itself can also be removed, and the frame can be used as normal for anything you want to frame and display. Given the extra depth the PSA slabs added, the acrylic panel won't fit within the frame itself, but instead can be secured on the front of the frame with silver clips (included with purchase). These clips are also removable, allowing for the PSA slabs to be displayed without the cover or to allow the acrylic panel to be used as normal.
