Description: We came across this unusual item at a garage sale, it was sold to us in a box of other collectibles. The box was mostly graded sports cards, but there was this one singular Magic the Gathering card amongst them. As you can see, it is graded with a grade of one. This is because it is damaged. I tried to take the photos so that you could see the damage; obviously there is a big crease, there is also an indent that looks like it might have been rolled over by a chair, but it’s much less obvious than the crease. We think this is an interesting case because as we were going through the graded sports cards, we looked this card up and this is the only grade one Underground Sea that SGC has ever graded. This card is unique! Someone here who plays magic thinks it’s probably still playable — the card is flat and would still fit into a sleeve, apparently. (This person was also quick to note that they are not a judge, so is not 100% certain it’s playable in a tournament, but seeing as it’s in a slab that’s not likely anyway. 😊)
