The auction benefited the Monterey Kinship Center, Rotary Club and Maritime Museum. Poster features an Alfa Romeo 8C-35 Grand Prix race car with the Monterey waterfront in the background. This artist proof is beautifully rendered in richly colored inks under the watchful eye of noted automotive artist Dennis Simon who is both the artist and publisher. The artist proofs are the first off the press after Simon approved the color matching to the original painting. Poster is signed by Dennis Simon in the lower right corner, and identified as an artist proof in the lower left. Poster measures 20" x 32" (52cm x 83cm). Poster is brand new, in beautiful condition.
