The magnetic piece on the back of some of the letters (D, E, J, K, L, M, N, O, R, S, Y) is disintegrating. This does not impact the performance of the system. (Apparently the only function of the magnetism is to hold the letters to the desk so that they do not fall out of their letter slots if the desk is turned upside down.) See picture. (The letter "A" is not affected and is flipped over in the picture as a reference to show what the magnetic piece should look like, versus the ones on the affected letters.) A few of the lesson cards have some creasing, but this does not impact the use of these cards. (Creasing mainly noted on "HEN" and "TUB" cards, but with glare when taking the picture is difficult to see in the picture.) See pictures.
