Description: Up for sale is an Antique Soft Paste Porcelain Sprigware Cup and Saucer Made in Staffordshire. Circa 1800-1850. The cup and saucer feature gorgeous hand painted patterns of blue flowers with green leaves and a pink shiny gilt pattern that resembles some copper lustre. They both have a marking on the base of the pattern number "643" with a potters mark underneath. There is a spiderweb crack in the saucer and there is some light wear to the paint and minor manufacturing imperfections as seen in the photos. Otherwise the Cup & Saucer are in great condition and still display beautifully. Measurements are approximately:Cup:2 1/4" Tall.3 5/8" Rim Diameter.2" Base Diameter. Saucer:1 3/16" Tall to Rim5 15/16" Rim Diameter.3 3/8" Base Diameter. This is an antique item and may have small manufacturers imperfections which do not affect the display of the piece.
