Description: Here we have an Old Russian Orthodox Icon that dates pre-1880AD. The Riza is hand hammered and hewn. It appears to be brass and another metal. This piece is relatively humble in Ornamentation. It is quite weathered, as seen in the pictures, but holding strong. It is fairly heavy in weight and measures 9" x 8.25" x 1.5". There is a notable warm presence to this thaumaturge. Visitors are often drawn toward it and comment thusly. This Icon was obtained legally some 3 decades ago.
