I have seven sets of 2 available for a total of 14 glasses. Crafted in 1994, these glasses are extremely rare, super modern and exquisite. You will not be able to find a set like this easily. The glass used is not ordinary glass but Murano crystal glass, the original “crystal” which was first developed in Murano in 1450. This kind of crystal is extremely pure and transparent, and its brilliance and lightness lends a delicate sensation of pleasure to the eye and touch. I purchased these in Venice from L’Isola in 1997. I have not seen them anywhere else in the world. They are featured in the CARLO MORETTI , Cristalli di Murano 1958-1997 published by Giorgio Mondadori in 1997. Photos from the book pages featuring these glasses are shown. Book is not included. The base came in 6 different hand edged designs. Very labor intensive to make and were very expensive from the get go. Personally I like the sandy looking waves the most. The glasses stand about 6 3/4” or 22 cm tall. The base has a diameter of about 2 1/2” or 6cm across. Much better looking in reality. The clear glass and elegant design make them perfect for any occasion. What a conversation piece. Nobody will have anything like it. Absolutely perfect for a collector of Carlo Moretti glass pieces ! The offerings is for 2 glasses in a set. I have 6 sets of 2 available for a total of 12. A large group is shown in the last photo but this price is for 2 only. The Carlo Moretti book is not included.
