Description: For sale are two Colorado Avalanche pom poms, each with a handle commemorating when they were given out. One is for the 1996 Stanley Cup Finals. They gave away the same pom poms (or shakers as I call them) at both the first and second games. The back of that one features the Avalanche middle A logo. The second one was handed out at the opening night the following season when they raised the Stanley Cup Championship banner. The description on the handle includes the A logo above "Opening Night - Stanley Cup Banner Raising, Colorado Avalanche vs. San Jose Sharks, October 8, 1996". Both shakers are white, but the Stanley Cup Finals has a small number of silver streamers mixed in with the white. And both have small pin holes in the end of the handle (that's how I used to display them when I still have space available). And don't ask me why I saved these. I found a box with about 40 different ones (Avalanche, Nuggets, Crush, Broncos, CU football games, CSU football games, College Bowl games, etc.) most with dated events and some with just the names of both teams. If you are interested in any other of these shakers (or pom poms) feel free to ask. Let me know if you have any questions.
