All guides are nice and tight. The Diawa Spinning rod is medium action and the Apollo casting rod is Medium/heavy. On the cork handle spinning rod it reads “Diawa Custom Design Model No: ST 662MRS 6’6” Medium Lure: 1/4-1/2 oz. Line: 6-12 lbs. 662MRS Designed And Engineered By Diawa.” The butt cap on this rod has been replaced with a new heavy duty walking stick tip.On the Apollo casting rod it reads “Diawa Apollo AG51 T 6’ Lure: 1/2-1 oz. Line: 12-16 lb., MH. Made In Korea.”Grip Style: Split (CORK) -- Rear Grip Length: 6 3/4 in. -- Fore Grip Length: 2 in.
